The arrival of winter fuel

255 x 660 mm

Walking in the wrong direction.

270 x 370mm

Edition of 60 with 6 artist's proofs.

Printed on Hanemuhle etching 140 Lbs. Not

This etching was started after a friend put her house on the market, unfortunately very few people visited to view the property. I had the idea that she would if she could, attract the people walking in the lane, (in the wrong direction to her house).

The wall at the front of the picture comes from a little village outside York that I visited in 2004, I like the strange formation of the triple walls and the gate.

Filming the natural phenomenon

275 x 285mm

This print was commissioned by the film crew who came to film me as part of the 'Dales Diary' television program. The cameraman was about to leave the country and he'd expressed an interest in my work, the producers then asked me to create a picture somehow showing what they did, hence this picture.

The stolen kiss

195 295mm

Edition of 60 + 6 artist's proofs.

At the rear entrance to Yew Court I witnessed the 'stolen kiss' that you see, it looked a little odd, very furtive, but the image registered and so it eventually became a print.

Looking for the lost quark

250 x 370mm

Edition of 60 + 6 artist's proofs.

Quark's are very little, so little they exist inside atoms, so the likely-hood of finding one is rather slim to say the least. This was prompted by a friend's research at CERN where they were indeed looking for a quark, don't know if they found one, perhaps not. Each of the figures carries a small glass vial into which they will place the lost quark.
