Editioning:

We can print / edition your completed etchings. Proofing to complete limited editions from 10 to 200, whichever size edition you require.

Steel facing of copper etching plates .

Individual papers can be purchased from our suppliers to your specifications, colour of ink, type of finish are all important matters that need consideration.

Printmaking courses:

Individually tailored courses for the complete beginner to the most advanced printmaker. usually these are tailor made to suit the individual artist. Once you have mastered the techniques then you will be welcome to hire the studio for your own use.

 How to make an etching

The garden workshop at 'Byways'	Rochat etching press. Takes an A1 papersize.	Heater box for printing.
Drying rack.

Equipment:-

Rochat etching press: Bed size   24" x  36"    

 

plate cutters, drying racks, fine papers Arches/ Hannemuhle etching/Ingres/Somerset.

Albion platten press. Bed size 24" x 32"

 Rolls of lino, cutting tools, plywood, surface printing inks (full range) thinners, extenders, and all consumables.
